Anxiety and anxiety disorders

Anxiety, which is not always pathological, belongs to the general classification of anxiety disorders which constitute a set of psychological disorders of which the symptoms are represented by excessive anxiety, a pervasive sense of fear, worries and adaptation behaviour. Often confused with anguish or associated with depression, anxiety can be polymorphous, as in generalised anxiety disorder. The causes are numerous and varied in their expression.
