Résumé

Pharmacological treatments of anxiety disorders. The pharmacological treatment of anxiety disorders is based on a primary therapy and a short-term treatment. New generation antidepressants constitute the primary therapy, while benzodiazepines (BZDs) are used as short-term therapies to treat an attack. Particular attention should be paid to the use of BZDs which must be as short as possible. In addition, these medications are subject to a specific prescribing and dispensing regime which must be familiar to all pharmacists. (C) 2019 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
