Chronotopes and chronotypes Exploration of the temporalities in the public area of Paris

This article presents an ongoing research about the complex concept of chronotope. To do so, it crosses two approaches, one fundamental and the other pre-operational, lead alongside on Parisian public space. Both aim to understand cities time and rhythms, to better design and manage it. The merge of those approaches allow us to present a state of the art of notions, hypothesis and first results of urban space and time joint analysis. Methods to define a first sketch of chronotypes are exposed, leading to the emergence of chronotopes.
