Caring in spite of uncertainty

Uncertainty is frequent during perinatal time and can throw health professionals into ethical tension. The societal and technoscientific context promotes the illusion of a certainty. The persistent uncertainty induces a paradigm change for caregivers in thinking about taking care. Moreover, uncertainty prompts us to think about temporality in another way.
