Résumé

Robot-assisted radical prostatectomy and partial nephrectomy are the two procedures mostly performed in uro-oncology. Ten years after the first description, robotic prostatectomy has become the routine practice in all centers where the robot is available. Functional and carcinologic results are at least comparable or superior to laparoscopic or open approaches. Robotic assistance is especially useful in case of obese patients and to perform precise dissection (sparing cavernous nerves, vesico-uretral anastomosis, etc.). The results of partial nephrectomy also favor robotic assistance, taking into account perioperative parameters, functional and carcinologic results.
