Résumé

Dietary supplements with biotin are mainly used for energetic purposes or for fortification of hairs. Community pharmacists play a major role in the delivery of these biotin-based dietary supplements, by assessing the pertinence of unit doses in packages, by discussing indications and by notifying the users that there is a risk of interferences with laboratory assays.
