| Résumé | The Lugiato-Lefever equation arises as a model in nonlinear optics. Using tools from bifurcation theory, we study the existence and the stability of periodic steady waves which bifurcate from spatially constant solutions. For the stability problem, we focus on subharmonic perturbations, i.e., spatially periodic perturbations with periods equal to an integer multiple of the period of the steady wave. |
