Résumé | This paper presents a method to design an optimal brushless DC motor with industrial costs minimization. Within industrial context competitiveness is the main key point while performances must be kept at a high level. An optimization method is proposed to find the best design in this context. It is based on both analytic model of cost and performance of the motor coupled with genetic algorithms. A motor fan is designed thanks to this method for a home appliance. The resulting design motor is optimal with respect of both cost and performance criteria. |
