Résumé

Gall-inducing arthropods on plants are among those herbivores maintaining the most intimate, and therefore closest, relationships with their respective hostplants. In this respect, it seems quite natural, accordingly, to carry out inventories corresponding to well characterized phytogeographical units. The present inventory complies with this approach by focusing on a well-defined unit, the ``Burgundy Coast'' considered in its broadest sense, from Chatillon-sur-Seine to Macon; with observations extending to a dozen of phytosociological alliances which are typical of these limestone coasts, with more or less xerothermic environment. This entomologic inventory remains very partial however but nevertheless brings together 238 taxa. Some of these taxa present various characters of novelty which are further specified. Field data also provide the opportunity to tackle more general questions, highlighting, in particular, the contrasted distribution profiles between the main taxonomical groups of gallinducing arthropods, according to the main morphological types of host-plants: herbaceous, shrubby or arborescent. Finally, the comparison between the gall-inducing faunas respectively encountered in each of the seven ``countries'' spreading along the ``Coast'' provided the opportunity to discuss a methodological issue dealing with recommended precautions when using the usual indices of similarity in specific composition.
