Résumé | Within the framework of the classical problem of Lyapunov redesign, the barrier function-based adaptation control is presented. The proposed approach does not require the knowledge of an upper bound of the uncertainty. However, producing a continuous control signal adjusts the chattering problem and ensures that the solution will converge in finite time to a region with a priori prescribed ultimate bound.
