Résumé | The development of the Internet of Things emphasized a process initiated by the numeric convergence and the explosion of Internet: on the one hand the increasing amount of numeric pedagogical resources (NPR), on the other the diversification of these NPR. Spaces for learning are widening and diversifying thanks to the multiplication of connected things and the ubiquity of communication networks. Learning can be performed in all places, at all times with a variety of devices which provide new interaction modes. From this, a myriad of numeric tools and platforms appeared to sustain online learning activities. However, accessibility to relevant NPR is limited due to the volume, learner and teacher have to cope with thousands of searching results. In addition, NPR interoperability is reduced by the silos model of the Web 2.0 and the heterogeneity of data formats. In this context, semantic web technologies can improve these critical NPR characteristics. Machine-readable resources enable the development of tools to query and link NPR from different sources on the Web and specialized in the identification of relevant NPR according to a subject, a context or a learner profile. Beyond implementation in a classroom and institution framework, tools for NPR identification and distribution can foster the development of ubiquitous learning. |
