Résumé | We theoretically show that a stack of metallic metamaterials is able to achieve either broadband or extremely narrowband polarization rotation, with a perfect transmission. We demonstrate that the arrangement of the structure allows for the spectrally tunable perfect transmission. For the study, the transmission properties are given by an analytical expression derived from a Jones formalism. These results can be used to develop versatile multilayer structures for the control of light in the terahertz fingerprint. |
