Résumé | C pecificities and complexities of palliative care in hematology spotlight platelet transfusion issue. Among transfusion products, platelet concentrates are a special case. A debate is open about their utilization and some transfusion parameters outside the end of life. This debate is exacerbated at a period where quality of life takes precedence over quantity. Moreover, platelet concentrates' allocation is increasing each year requires optimization of his utilization. Currently, data are fewer to propose a consensus at the end of life. We propose a revue, with articles published after 2011, as a substructure to the debate from practical aspects to ethical aspects. |
