Résumé | Kerr optical frequency combs and optoelectronic oscillators are microwave photonic systems that can generate ultra-pure radio-frequency signals in the gigahertz range. We comparatively investigate the phase noise performances of both microwave generators and analyse as well their specific spectral features. |
