Résumé | Low durability issue of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) under Automotive Load Cycling (ALC) can be tackled by applying model-based prognostic. Model-based methods allow predicting the Remaining Useful Life (RUL) of the system in order to apply preventive maintenance actions. These methods build a degradation model, which can be empirical or physical-based, and use the model to describe the PEMFC aging. This paper presents a review of model-based methods for PEMFC prognostic under ALC. Moreover, the current limitations of the proposed methods, the presented degradation models and the prediction horizon are discussed. |
