Résumé | Polymer films of poly(2,3,5,6-tetrafluoroaniline) (PTFA) were electroplated on ITO substrates from an acidic solution of the monomer by chronoamperometry. Electrochemical and morphological characterizations were performed and compared to these of polyaniline. The PTFA film presents a poor conductivity due to the absence of acid-base doping and a quasi irreversible redox response. This film was then incorporated in a patented device called MSDI heterojunction to perform ammonia sensing in humid atmosphere. (C) 2018 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved. |
