Résumé

The individual seems to be the keystone for most of the << energy transition >> policies currently developed in France. Individual changes are waited in the sense of a reduced use of car and a smaller consumption for in- home uses. That being said, most of the methods for observing daily mobility and energy consumption are based on cross-sectional approaches. These methods are limited in the understanding of changes or recurrences of energy daily practices. The TELEM project presented in this paper targets the setting up of a panel survey based on a specific smartphone application allowing a semi-automatic monitoring of daily mobility ( modes, places, motives) and in-home energy consumptions.
